Jayesh Shah

Jayesh Shah has over 20 years of experience in software development and engineering. Jayesh currently works as the Sr. Director of Software at Ambiq since December 2016. Prior to that, they worked at MaxLinear from January 2016 to November 2016, where they held the role of Technical Lead and Software Manager. At MaxLinear, they managed the development team and was responsible for architecting and delivering the host control plane software for DOCSIS Remote PHY devices. Jayesh also represented MaxLinear in the openRPD working group.

Before joining MaxLinear, Jayesh worked at Entropic/Trident/NXP/Conexant from July 2007 to April 2015. In this role, they directed the design, development, and delivery of software for DIRECTV Set Top Box designs, contributing to approximately $75M in recognized revenue. Jayesh also led the team in developing IP clients based on RVU in the DIRECTV Genie ecosystem.

From January 2000 to July 2007, Jayesh worked at Conexant/GlobeSpan as a Principal Engineer and Engineering Manager. Jayesh was the Platform Owner for the CO-Access Network Processor Business, managing a team of 14 engineers for Data-Plane Software Development. Jayesh also played a key role as one of the main architects for the Data Plane Software for the CO Network Processor targeted for the IP-DSLAM market.

Before their time at Conexant/GlobeSpan, Jayesh worked at Ficon Technology, Inc. from June 1998 to December 1999 as a Member Of Technical Staff. Jayesh started their career as a Software Engineer at Silicon Automation Systems from March 1997 to June 1998.

Jayesh Shah attended Kendriya Vidyalaya from 1989 to 1991, although no specific degree or field of study was mentioned. Following this, they attended Dharmsinh Desai University from 1991 to 1995, where they earned a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Electronics & Communications. Jayesh then pursued a Master of Technology (M.Tech.) in Electrical Engineering, with a specialization in "Telecommunication Networks," at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur from 1995 to 1997.
