Kara B has a strong background in system test automation and validation engineering. With experience at Ambiq and Mythic in 2022, they held roles as a System Test Automation Engineer and Validation Engineer, respectively. Prior to these positions, Kara worked at Cirrus Logic from 2010 to 2021, where they were the lead for the bench test automation framework. Their responsibilities included post-silicon validation and emulation of mixed-signal audio codecs. Before Cirrus Logic, Kara worked at Advanced Micro Devices from 2006 to 2009, leading a team in automating system-level validation and working on high-power processors. ~~Kara also has experience with product evaluation and test at Freescale Semiconductor from 2000 to 2006, supporting the development of microcontroller embedded FLASH. Additionally, Kara worked on spacecraft computer development at Southwest Research Institute from 1994 to 2000.

Kara B has completed a Master's degree in Computer Engineering from St. Mary's University. Prior to that, they attended The University of Texas at San Antonio and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Digital Design.
