Steve Mulanax

Steve Mulanax has extensive experience in hardware design and validation. Steve most recently worked at Ambiq as a Staff Validation Engineer starting in November 2022. Prior to that, they were a Senior Validation Engineer at Mythic from May 2019 to November 2022, where they designed validation hardware platforms and wrote Verilog RTL for test platforms.

In their role as a Staff Engineer at Qualcomm from April 2012 to November 2015, Steve produced hardware emulation platforms for software testing of digital signal processors. Steve integrated various components using Synplify, Vivado, and System Generator and targeted Xilinx FPGAs.

Steve also has experience as a Senior Hardware Engineer at ClearOne Communications and MCC Computer Company, where they designed FPGA logic and test benches and led efforts to debug and correct power and PCB layout problems.

Earlier in their career, they worked as a Test Engineer (Consultant) at IBM, where they supported system validation for the Blue Waters supercomputer, and as a Hardware Design Engineer (Contractor) at Evermore Systems, Polycom, and Freescale Semiconductor, where they designed and tested various electronic devices and platforms.

Steve Mulanax attended the University of Arizona from 1984 to 1989. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering.
