Sam Sims has a diverse work experience in the education and research field. They have held positions such as Research Team Lead at Ambition Institute since 2022, Lecturer at UCL Centre for Education Policy and Equalising Opportunities (CEPEO) since 2018, Research Fellow at Education Datalab since 2015, and Research Associate at Adminstrative Data Research Centre since 2015.
Sam Sims completed a Bachelor's Degree in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics at the University of Oxford from 2007 to 2010. Sam then pursued a Master's Degree in Policy Analysis and Evaluation at IOE - UCL's Faculty of Education and Society from 2013 to 2014. Finally, Sam obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) from UCL, starting in 2014 and finishing in 2017.
