Bess W.

Bess W. has worked in various roles within different companies. Bess started their career at the University of Michigan as a Student Researcher, where they conducted independent research projects in the field of genetics. Bess then joined Immunetrics as a Biological Modeler, focusing on biological modeling. Currently, they are working at Ambry Genetics, where they have held multiple positions, including Genetic Counselor and Principal Clinical Scientist. In their roles at Ambry Genetics, they have demonstrated expertise in SNP microarray analysis, Exome analysis, and report writing. Bess also contributed to the creation of a copy number variation classification scheme. Bess'swork experience spans from 1998 to the present.

Bess W. obtained a Master's Degree in Genetic Counseling/Public Health Genetics from the University of Pittsburgh School of Public Health from 2014 to 2016. Prior to that, they pursued a PhD in Molecular Genetics at the Weizmann Institute of Science from 2003 to 2009. Bess began their academic journey by completing a Bachelor of Science in Cellular and Molecular Biology at the University of Michigan from 1996 to 2000.
