Beth Buckley, PhD, FACMG has a diverse work experience in the field of genetics and genomics. Starting in 2007, they worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, focusing on RNA biology and epigenetics. Beth then joined PreventionGenetics as a Human Molecular Geneticist, where they managed sequencing tests and interpreted variants for epilepsy, intellectual disability, and neurodegenerative disorders. Beth later became a Clinical Molecular Genetics Fellow at Johns Hopkins, specializing in variant interpretation and data sharing. Beth continued their career at Counsyl as a Clinical Molecular Geneticist and then at Invitae as a Clinical Genomics Signout Director. Recently, they have held positions as a Laboratory Director at Variantyx and Ambry Genetics. Beth's expertise lies in variant interpretation, clinical genomics, and laboratory management.
Beth Buckley, PhD, FACMG completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biology, General from Indiana University of Pennsylvania from 2003 to 2006. Beth then pursued their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Genetics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, graduating in 2013.
