Cynthia Nance

Cynthia Nance has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Cynthia started their career as a Financial Analyst at Taylor Made Office Solutions in 1997. Cynthia then worked at IKON Office Solutions from 1998 to 2003, initially as a Director of Financial Operations overseeing multiple branch locations in California, and later in a similar role but focused on specific branches in San Francisco, San Mateo, and Hawaii.

Afterwards, they joined UBEC Inc in 2003 as Director of Finance/Controller, where they managed all finance and operations for a $4M equipment company. Cynthia implemented budget forecasting and cost control measures to increase profitability and reported results monthly to executive staff.

In 2006, Cynthia joined Ricoh Business Solutions as the Technology Services Manager, responsible for managing a team of 67 employees in the Northern California area. Cynthia also held roles as Regional Finance Manager and Director of Finance, Greater Los Angeles Area, where they oversaw various departments and achieved success in merging two corporate entities.

From 2013 to 2014, Cynthia worked as the Controller at Cell Business Equipment before moving on to become the Regional Leasing Manager at Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A., Inc. In this role, they were responsible for lease contract negotiations and customer retention.

Most recently, Cynthia has been working at Ambry Genetics since 2018. Cynthia started as a Data Analytics Manager, providing forecasting, sales trend analysis, and KPI reporting. Cynthia then transitioned to the role of Director, Business Operations, leading a cross-functional team and overseeing data analytic systems.

Cynthia Nance, MSDS, CLSSGB holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Financial Management from California State University, Chico, obtained in 1997. Cynthia later pursued a Master of Science degree in Data Science from Eastern University, which they completed in 2023. In 2022, Cynthia attended MIT Sloan School of Management to study Applied Business Analytics. Subsequently, they obtained an MBA in Organizational Management from Eastern University in 2025. In terms of additional certifications, Cynthia has completed the MIT Sloan School of Business' Applied Business Analytics program and earned a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification from Ambry Genetics in 2020. Cynthia has also completed a course on Learning Data Science: Understanding the Basics from LinkedIn in 2022.
