Robert Hoiness, MS, MB(ASCP), CGMBS has a diverse work experience in the field of genetics and laboratory research. Robert started their career as a Clinical Research Coordinator at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Long Beach in 2006. In 2007, they worked as a Laboratory Technician at the Veterinary Diagnostics Institute, followed by a role as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at California State University, Long Beach from 2007 to 2010. Robert returned to the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Long Beach in 2010, this time as a Research Assistant. Later, they joined Ambry Genetics and held several positions including Clinical Validations Manager, Sr. Manager of Advanced Genomic Services Laboratory, Associate Director of Research Development, and Director of Operations. Robert Hoiness has demonstrated expertise in laboratory operations, research development, and clinical validations.
Robert Hoiness holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Microbiology from California State University, Long Beach. Robert also obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Biology from the same institution. Additionally, they hold a certification from the American Society of Clinical Pathology.
