Stephany Tandy-Connor's work experience includes various roles in the field of genetics and healthcare. Stephany began their career at Indiana University School of Medicine as a Lab Technician and later became a Lab Manager/Lab Technician, working on projects led by different principal investigators. Stephany then worked as a Clinical Data Management Assistant at Eli Lilly and Company before joining Kaiser Permanente as a Genetic Counselor. At Kaiser Permanente, they provided genetic counseling services until 2011. Stephany then moved to Ambry Genetics, where they held several roles, including Reporting Genetic Counselor - Cancer, Supervisor of Genetic Counseling - Cancer, Manager of Oncology Reporting, and currently serves as the Principal Clinical Scientist.

Stephany Tandy-Connor completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular Genetics at Purdue University from 1996 to 2000. Stephany then pursued a Master's degree in Genetic Counseling/Counselor at Arcadia University from 2005 to 2007.
