William Lyman

William Lyman is an accomplished Bioinformatics Engineer III specializing in cloud engineering, currently employed at Ambry Genetics since February 2021. In this role, William leads a team in modernizing legacy REST APIs to a cloud-native, distributed microservices architecture, championing best practices for enhanced scalability and performance. Prior experiences include positions as Bioinformatics Software Engineer II and Programmer Analyst III, where William worked on cloud migration and developed a Covid testing pipeline, respectively. Earlier roles at Corteva Agriscience and DuPont involved troubleshooting and designing software solutions for genetic research and laboratory environments.
