Jan Christiaen has extensive experience in emergency medicine and anesthesiology, currently serving as the Diensthoofd of both spoedgevallen and anesthesie at GZA since May 2018. In addition, Jan Christiaen holds the position of CEO and Chairman of the board at Ambuce Rescue Team, focusing on ambulance services and medical consulting. As the managing director and owner of The Paddocks, Jan Christiaen offers a unique concept store featuring classic and exotic cars. Jan Christiaen also has a long-standing tenure as an intensivist and anesthesiologist at St. Augustinus since 1991, along with ownership of Chrive-Invest, which involves investment management. Additional leadership roles include a member of the board at Ferranti Computer Systems and past chairman of the Falck Foundation's Medical Board, dedicated to advancing pre-hospital care research. Jan Christiaen's educational background includes a medical degree from Uia in Antwerp and specialized training in anesthesiology and emergency medicine at Uza.
