Wendy de Jong

Wendy de Jong serves as the General Director of Oost NL, where the organization drives technological innovation and entrepreneurship focused on societal transitions in climate-neutral energy, sustainable food, and accessible healthcare. Additionally, Wendy holds the position of National Chair of ROM Nederland, facilitating regional developmental initiatives addressing economic and societal challenges. Involved with Invest EU Europe as an advisory board expert member, Wendy also contributes to Ambulance Amsterdam B.V. as a member of the Supervisory Board. As a lecturer at the Governance Academy and past member of the Supervisory Board of the Dutch Authority for Financial Markets, Wendy brings extensive governance and financial expertise to various roles. Wendy’s educational background includes degrees in Law and Business Economics from Leiden University, alongside ongoing studies at prestigious institutions such as The London School of Economics and IMD.
