Amy Chris has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Amy has been working as a Servicing Representative at the Hospital Employees' Union since 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of Regional Vice President at Ambulance Paramedics of BC from 2015 onwards. Amy also worked as a Community Paramedic and Primary Care Paramedic at BC Emergency Health Services, where they gained experience as a preceptor, mentor, and acting unit chief. Amy has also been involved in union work and conflict resolution. In addition, Amy has worked as a Lead Wilderness Medicine/First Aid Instructor at Wilderness Medical Associates International since 2012. Amy served as the First Aid Centre Coordinator at College of the Rockies from 2019 to 2022. Amy was also a Faculty Member/Instructor at The Care Course from 2012 to 2020. Amy previously worked as an OFA Instructor, EMR Instructor/Examiner, and PCP Instructor at College of the Rockies from 2008 to 2014. Before that, Amy owned and operated Adventure Source Tours, where they worked as an Owner/Operator/Lead Guide, providing wilderness dogsled tours and managing administrative duties.
