Mark Flanagan

Mark Flanagan serves as the Director and Global Study Lead for Open Pit at AMC Consultants since August 2008, overseeing a team of mining consultants and specializing in mining engineering, project management, optimization, and operational reviews for open-pit mines. Prior to this, Mark worked at Rio Tinto from January 2003 to April 2008, where responsibilities included developing medium-term mine plans and providing technical assistance for mining operations. Mark holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mining from the University of New South Wales and a Graduate Diploma of Management from Chifley Business.
