Wayne Rogers

Wayne Rogers, P.Eng. is an experienced mining engineer with a strong background in open pit operations and mine planning. Currently serving as Open Pit Manager and Principal Mining Engineer at AMC Consultants since March 2019, Wayne has previously held roles as Long Term Planning Engineer at Grange Resources, Senior Mine Planning Engineer at Baffinland and PanAust, and Senior Mining Engineer at AMC during earlier tenure. Notably, Wayne led significant projects at JKTech Pty Ltd focused on rock breakage and blast optimization while also completing a Master of Philosophy in Mining Engineering. Previous experience includes various engineering roles at Rio Tinto, where certifications in Quarry Management and Frontline Management were obtained. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Engineering from The University of Western Australia and a Master of Philosophy from The University of Queensland.
