John Hsu is currently the EVP of Corporate Development & Treasurer at [AMC Networks](/org/amc-networks). Prior to this, they were a Member of the Board of Directors at [fuboTV](/org/fubotv) from March 2018 to May 2020. Before that, they were the Board Observer at Adaptive Studios from September 2017 to April 2019. John has also held positions as the Board Observer at DramaFever from April 2012 to October 2014, and as the Vice President at Cablevision Inc. from July 2004 to June 2011. John began their career as a Vice President at Bear Stearns & Co. from June 2000 to June 2004.

John Hsu

As AMC Networks’ first Chief Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Officer, Aisha Thomas-Petit is charged with building on and advancing the company’s DEI goals and foundation. As a key member of the senior leadership team reporting directly to President & CEO, Josh Sapan, Thomas-Petit is responsible for setting the strategy, roadmap and measures of success to develop, bolster, and retain a diverse and inclusive community both within the company’s workforce, as well as in front of and behind the camera across AMC Networks’ portfolio of entertainment brands. Additionally, Thomas-Petit plays an integral role in advancing the company’s commitment to telling original stories that entertain with vivid characters, stories, and worlds that show the full spectrum of human experiences.

Before joining AMC Networks, Thomas-Petit served as Chief Diversity, Inclusion and Corporate Social Responsibility Officer at ADP. A seasoned DEI executive, she also held various leadership roles in Human Resources including Division Vice President of the company’s Major Accounts and Canada division during her seven years at ADP.

Previously, Thomas-Petit spent over seven years at Barclays Capital (including over two years at Lehman Brothers before it was purchased by Barclays), where she ultimately became the HR Director for Global Operations, driving people strategy for over 4000 employees globally, and partnering with the Global Head of Investment Bank Operations to drive talent and performance management, development and compensation. Prior to Barclays, Thomas-Petit spent eight years at JP Morgan Chase, where she held several roles including Vice President, HR for Shared Technology & Operations and Investment Bank Operations, leading people strategy for a newly merged global organization of 2400 employees.

Thomas-Petit holds a Master of Business Administration degree in Marketing and Business Strategy from Rutgers University and a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Syracuse University, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude.

She resides in New Jersey with her family.

Aisha Thomas-Petit

As President of Original Programming and Co-President of AMC Studios, Dan McDermott is responsible for content creation across the [AMC Networks](/org/amc-networks) Entertainment Group – including AMC, [BBC America](/org/bbc-america), IFC, and SundanceTV – as well as AMC Studios. He is based in Los Angeles.

McDermott is a multifaceted media executive with an industry-wide reputation for achievements in content creation, development and distribution, combined with skilled management of complex creative partnerships and network organizations. His proven business and creative acumen at top media firms such as [Lionsgate](/org/lionsgate), [BBC Studios](/org/bbc-studios), DreamWorks and Fox, along with his deep roots in the creative community, make him both a valued media executive as well as a prolific and respected creator of content.

Before joining [AMC Networks](/org/amc-networks), McDermott was head of the [Lionsgate](/org/lionsgate) and [BBC Studios](/org/bbc-studios) scripted TV partnership, where he oversaw all aspects of dealmaking, sales, development, production and distribution. Previously, McDermott was a successful producer, writer and partner in Di Bonaventura Pictures Television, with notable credits including The Real O’Neals, Jupiter’s Legacy, and more. For almost a decade, he served as DreamWorks’ first president of television, where he oversaw shows like Spin City, Freaks and Geeks, the award-winning miniseries Band of Brothers, and more. He also held various roles at the Fox Broadcasting Network, where he developed and oversaw such series as In Living Color, Melrose Place, The X-Files, The Simpsons, Married…with Children, Martin, Party of Five, Mad TV, and Beverly Hills, 90210. He was also responsible for overseeing The Emmys, The Billboard Awards and dozens of other specials on the network.

McDermott received his B.A. in film and television from the UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television and continued his education as a screenwriting fellow at the American Film Institute.

Kim Kelleher is the current President of Advertising Sales & Partnerships at [AMC Networks](/org/amc-networks). Prior to this, they served as the President of Say Media from August 2012 to November 2013, Worldwide Publisher at Time Inc. from January 2011 to July 2012, and as a Board Member (Founding Board Member) at Upworthy from September 2010 to September 2016. Kim has also held the position of VP, Publisher at [Sports Illustrated](/org/sports-illustrated) from July 2010 to December 2010, and Chief Brand Officer at Conde Nast from April 2017 to January 2019.

As President of IFC Films, Arianna Bocco oversees acquisitions, production, marketing and publicity, as well as theatrical film distribution and the fast-growing IFC Films Unlimited subscription streaming service.

Since joining the company in 2006, Bocco has spearheaded all acquisitions and productions for IFC Films, Sundance Selects and IFC Midnight, the three multi-platform film distribution labels owned and operated by AMC Networks, Inc., acquiring the rights to some of the most critically acclaimed independent films from around the world. Bocco is revered for her vast experience in acquisitions, production and development, having held a variety of high-level posts throughout her career.  In 2010, she was named to Crain’s 40 Under 40 Class of 2009 Rising Stars and to Moves’ Top 20 Power Women of 2010.  Prior to joining the company, Bocco served as head of the independent feature packaging division of the Gersh Agency in New York City, and previously, she worked at Miramax Films as Senior Vice President of Acquisitions.  While at Miramax Films, she was involved in acquiring such notable films as Zach Braff’s Garden State and Tom McCarthy’s The Station Agent.  Before joining Miramax Films, Bocco was Vice President of Acquisitions and Co-Productions at New Line Cinema and Fine Line Features.  She held various roles in acquisitions there during her six-year tenure.  Bocco began her career at ICM and The Steve Tisch Company.

Bocco earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Sarah Lawrence College.  She currently resides in New York City, with her dog Henry.

Georgia Juvelis is [AMC Networks](/org/amc-networks)’ Executive Vice President of Corporate Communications, reporting to President and CEO Josh Sapan.

Georgia is responsible for leading [AMC Networks](/org/amc-networks)’ corporate communications strategy, including overseeing all communications related to the company’s financial reporting, business transactions and its global division, [AMC Networks](/org/amc-networks) International. She also oversees the company’s government affairs activities, corporate marketing initiatives and internal communications.

A seasoned communications strategist, Georgia joined [AMC Networks](/org/amc-networks) in 2007 following a decade of experience working in publicity and corporate communications for leading media and entertainment companies.  Prior to [AMC Networks](/org/amc-networks), she was Vice President of Communications for Gemstar-TV Guide, where she oversaw corporate communications, media relations, talent relations and consumer publicity initiatives for the company’s television and interactive businesses. She previously owned and operated a public relations consulting firm in New York City and San Francisco, with clients including Hearst Communications and PBS and she began her career managing publicity for Discovery Communications.

She has received several industry honors, including being named a 2020 Multichannel News Wonder Woman.

Patrick O’Connell, a seasoned financial and strategic executive and media and technology industry veteran, joined AMC Networks from BRANDED, a consumer e-commerce company where he led strategic planning, financing and acquisitions.

Prior to joining BRANDED, O’Connell was Executive Vice President, Head of Corporate Development at CBS Corporation, where he was responsible for firm-wide strategy, financial forecasting, capital allocation and mergers and acquisitions. At CBS he led highly complex transactions including the merger between CBS and Viacom and the divestiture of CBS Radio.

O’Connell spent 14 years at Goldman, Sachs & Co. where he served as Managing Director within the Investment Banking Division in the Telecom, Media & Technology (TMT) Group. He led coverage of the firm’s large-cap domestic Media clients and served as trusted advisor to CEOs, CFOs and Boards of Directors on the negotiation and execution of strategic transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, spin-offs and IPOs, and has extensive public and private market financing experience. Earlier in his career, O’Connell was an auditor at PricewaterhouseCoopers.

O’Connell is a CPA as well as a Chartered Financial Analyst. He has an MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Anne Kelly

Christina Spade joined AMC Networks as Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer in January 2021 and was soon promoted to a new dual role of Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer in November 2021. In this role she oversaw AMC Networks’ key businesses, financial operations as well as investor relations and global technology.

Spade has spent her career in media and entertainment. Previously, she was Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer for the newly-combined ViacomCBS, overseeing all financial operations for the company, including treasury, tax, accounting, internal audit, information security and real estate. Prior to CBS and Viacom merging in December 2019, Spade served as Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, CBS Corporation, from October 2018.

From February 2013, Spade was Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Strategy for Showtime Networks Inc. where she was responsible for all financial matters relating to Showtime Networks’ businesses, including finance, strategy and information systems for the network’s divisions including budgeting, planning, forecasting and accounting. She was instrumental in the successful scaling of the Showtime OTT platform, which launched in July 2015 and was the key financial architect of numerous real estate deals and transactions at Showtime. She also served as a member of the board for Smithsonian Channel™.

Spade worked in different capacities at Showtime Networks during her over 21 years with the company, including Senior Vice President, Affiliate Finance and Business Operations for Showtime Networks Inc., where she led financial and business operations’ management of distribution revenue and sales, marketing and creative expenses. Prior to joining Showtime Networks, Spade was an audit manager with PricewaterhouseCoopers in the Entertainment, Media and Communications practice.

Spade is a director and the Audit Committee Chair for the board of LAMF Global Ventures Corp. I. In addition, she is currently a member of the board of directors for the T. Howard Foundation. She founded and is president of ATR Children’s Foundation, which is a non-profit organization established to help children in need. Spade was selected as a 2017 WICT Wonder Woman and served as an executive mentor in WICT’s mentorship program. She is a CPA and graduated with a B.S. in accounting from St. Joseph’s University.

Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer of [Cablevision](/org/cablevision) from October 2001 until April 2005. Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer of [Cablevision](/org/cablevision) from February 1996 to October 2001. Vice President and Chief Information Officer of [Cablevision](/org/cablevision) from July 1994 to February 1996. General Manager of [Cablevision](/org/cablevision)’s East End Long Island cable system from November 1991 to July 1994. Thomas C. Dolan

Director of the Company since June 2015. Mr. Van Zandt is the President of [The New School](/org/the-new-school). Mr. Van Zandt is also the special general counsel and an adviser for Artal Group S.A., a European-based family controlled and funded private equity firm, and The Invus Group, LLC, a U.S.-based worldwide family controlled and funded private equity firm. From 1995 through 2010, he served as the Dean of Northwestern University School of Law. Mr. Van Zandt joined the faculty of Northwestern University School of Law in 1985. After graduating from law school, Mr. Van Zandt clerked for Judge Pierre N. Leval, U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York (now on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit) and for Harry Blackmun, Associate Justice of the [Supreme Court of the United States](/org/supreme-court-of-the-united-states) and then joined the law firm, Davis Polk and Wardwell. Mr. Van Zandt is a trustee for the Citizens Budget Commission. He is also a member of the steering committee of the Association for a Better New York and is on the education advisory board for The Vistria Group.

David E. Van Zandt

Director of the Company since March 9, 2011. Mr. Dolan is Chairman Emeritus. He served as Executive Chairman of the Company from June 2011 until September 2020. He served as Chairman of [Cablevision](/org/cablevision) from 1985 until its sale in June 2016. He was Chief Executive Officer of [Cablevision](/org/cablevision) from 1985 to October 1995. Mr. Dolan founded and acted as the General Partner of [Cablevision](/org/cablevision)’s predecessor from 1973 to 1985 and established Manhattan Cable Television in 1961 and Home Box Office in 1971. He serves as a director of MSG Entertainment, [MSG Networks](/org/msg-networks) and MSG Sports. Mr. Dolan previously served as a director of [Cablevision](/org/cablevision) until its sale in June 2016.



Charles F. Dolan

Josh Sapan is Executive Vice Chairman of [AMC Networks](/org/amc-networks), the global entertainment company known for creating some of the most celebrated and groundbreaking original content in television history. Sapan’s success in delivering must-have content to passionate audiences, coupled with his championing of innovative distribution models, has transformed the way people watch TV and film.

Under Sapan’s leadership, including his 26-year tenure as President and CEO, he reshaped the company, evolving it from a collection of U.S. cable channels showcasing classic movies to what is today a company known for bold, prestige original drama, and more recently, for its fast-growing targeted streaming services.

The company’s portfolio includes streaming services AMC+, Acorn TV, Shudder, Sundance Now and ALLBLK, as well as cable channels AMC, BBC AMERICA (operated through a joint venture with [BBC Studios](/org/bbc-studios)), IFC, SundanceTV, WE tv, and independent production and distribution label IFC Films.

Sapan has been credited with making [AMC Networks](/org/amc-networks) a destination for some of the most influential content in entertainment at the center of what’s been widely referred to as the modern day “Golden Age” of TV, including original drama series Mad Men, Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul, The Walking Dead, Killing Eve, and Rectify; mini-series The Night Manager, Top of the Lake and Carlos; mold-breaking comedies Portlandia, Documentary Now! and Brockmire; landmark nature series Planet Earth II and Seven Worlds, One Planet; and leading unscripted series franchises Love After Lockup and Growing Up Hip Hop.

Sapan led the launch of the company’s first streaming offerings, Sundance Now (in 2014) and Shudder (in 2015). These launches were followed by the 2018 acquisition of [RLJ Entertainment](/org/rlj-entertainment), which added Acorn TV and ALLBLK to the company’s streaming portfolio, and the 2020 launch of the AMC+ premium bundle – all of which set the company on its present course with a future built around targeted streaming offerings.

A champion of new voices, Sapan has brought independent film to wide audiences through IFC Films, supporting the early work of ground-breaking directors including Lena Dunham, Barry Jenkins, Richard Linklater, Mira Nair, Christopher Nolan and Lynn Shelton, among many others. The company is also home to the IFC Center, the art-house cinema located in the heart of New York City’s Greenwich Village, and is behind DOC NYC, the largest documentary film festival in the United States.

Sapan is a recipient of the Paley Prize for Innovation and Excellence and has been recognized by Vanity Fair as one of the “Impresarios of Cable’s Golden Age.” He serves on numerous boards, including the American Film Institute, The Paley Center for Media, the Museum of the Moving Image, The Public Theater, NCTA – The Internet & Television Association, and New York Public Radio, and is a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences Executive Branch.

He is the author of “The Big Picture: America in Panorama” (Princeton Architectural Press), a collection of panoramic photos from the 20th century. He is also a published poet and has the world’s largest collection of antique lightning rods, a selection of which is on permanent display at the Franklin Institute in Philadelphia.

Josh Sapan

Director of the Company since June 2022. Mr. Cohen has been Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of West Ridge Associates, a sports and media consulting firm, since 2013. West Ridge’s clients include Platinum Equities, a private equity firm, the Cleveland Guardians and Arizona Diamondbacks of Major League Baseball, and The Switch, a broadcast transmission facilities provider. Mr. Cohen has served as an independent consultant of The Switch since May 2020 and previously served as President of Sports at The Switch from 2013 to 2018 as an employee and from 2018 through May 2020 (as an independent consultant). He was Chief Executive Officer and Principal Owner of The Switch predecessor companies Hughes Television Network (1985-1989) and HTN Communications, LLC (2003-2013). Mr. Cohen served in various senior executive roles with Madison Square Garden while the business was part of [Cablevision](/org/cablevision) and was President of [MSG Networks](/org/msg-networks) Inc. (1977-1985), when he was a member of the National Basketball Association (NBA) and National Hockey League (NHL) television committees. He returned as Executive Vice President of MSG Media & Development (1995-2002). Mr. Cohen was Chairman of the [Los Angeles Kings](/org/los-angeles-kings) of the NHL (1993-1995), also serving on the NHL Board of Governors. He was President of Spectacor West and Chief Executive Officer of Spectacor Films (1991-1993), serving on the board of Allied Communications, Inc. (ACI), an independent film distribution company. He was also co-founder and a director of USA Network (1977-1981). Mr. Cohen previously served as a director of [MSG Networks](/org/msg-networks) from June 2020 until the merger of Madison Square Garden Entertainment Corp. with [MSG Networks](/org/msg-networks) in July 2021. He also serves as a director of Joe Torre’s Safe At Home Foundation and Maccabi World Union. He serves as a director emeritus of the March of Dimes and trustee emeritus of the California Institute of the Arts. Recognition of Mr. Cohen includes the Sports Broadcasting Hall of Fame and the WWE Hall of Fame, the Sports Business Journal’s Champions Class of 2016, Ellis Island Medal of Honor and Billboard Magazine’s Facilities Manager of the Year (1974 and 1976). 


Joseph M. Cohen

Mr. Dolan has been involved with various entrepreneurial endeavors, including managing and performing in Upright Man, a New York-based band, since 2015 and launching an apparel line founded in May 2019. Aidan J. Dolan is the son of James L. Dolan, the step-son of Kristin A. Dolan, the grandson of Charles F. Dolan and the nephew of Thomas C. Dolan, Patrick Dolan and Brian G. Sweeney.

Director of the Company since March 9, 2011. Mr. Dolan is serving as Non-Executive Chairman since September 2020. He is also Executive Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of MSG Entertainment since November 2019; Executive Chairman of MSG Sports since March 2015; and Executive Chairman of [MSG Networks](/org/msg-networks) since July 2015. Mr. Dolan was Chief Executive Officer of [Cablevision](/org/cablevision) from October 1995 until its sale in June 2016. He was President of [Cablevision](/org/cablevision) from June 1998 to April 2014. Chief Executive Officer of Rainbow Media Holdings, Inc., a former subsidiary of [Cablevision](/org/cablevision), from September 1992 to October 1995 and Vice President of [Cablevision](/org/cablevision) from 1987 to September 1992. He serves as a director of MSG Entertainment, [MSG Networks](/org/msg-networks) and MSG Sports. Mr. Dolan previously served as a director of [Cablevision](/org/cablevision) until its sale in June 2016.

James L. Dolan

Director of the Company since June 2013. Mr. Vogel is a private investor. He serves as an industry advisor for Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. L.P. and a Senior Advisor of DISH Network Corporation. Mr. Vogel is also the President and sole stockholder of Bulldog Capital, Inc., a private investment firm. From November 2011 to October 2014, Mr. Vogel served as a Senior Adviser of [The Gores Group](/org/the-gores-group), a private equity firm. From June 2005 until March 2009, Mr. Vogel served as Vice Chairman of DISH Network Corporation (formerly Echostar Communications Corporation, a satellite-delivered digital television services provider) and President from September 2006 until February 2008 of Echostar Communications Corporation. From October 2007 to March 2009, Mr. Vogel was Vice Chairman and Senior Advisor at Echostar Corp. Prior to that, Mr. Vogel was President, Chief Executive Officer and a director of [Charter Communications](/org/spectrum), a broadband service provider. He is director of DISH Network Corporation, Sirius/XM Holdings Inc., Shaw Communications, Inc. and Universal Electronics Inc. Director of the Company since June 30, 2011. Mr. Patrick F. Dolan is President of News 12 Networks since February 2002. News 12 Networks is a subsidiary of Altice N.V. He was Vice President of News 12 Networks from September 1995 to February 2002. He is a majority owner of Newsday Media Group since July 2016. Mr. Dolan previously served as a director of [Cablevision](/org/cablevision) until its sale in June 2016.

Patrick F. Dolan

Director of the Company since June 30, 2011. Ms. Kristin A. Dolan is the founder and has been Chief Executive Officer of 605, LLC an audience measurement and data analytics company in the media and entertainment industries, since its inception in November 2016. She previously served as the Chief Operating Officer of [Cablevision](/org/cablevision) from April 2014 until its sale in June 2016. She was President of Optimum Services for [Cablevision](/org/cablevision) from April 2013 to April 2014. Senior Executive Vice President of Product Management and Marketing of [Cablevision](/org/cablevision) from November 2011 to April 2013; and Senior Vice President of [Cablevision](/org/cablevision) from 2003 to 2011. William J. Bell

Director of the Company since June 30, 2011. Dr. Tow is Chief Executive Officer of New Century Holdings LLC, an outdoor advertising company, since January 2005. Mr. Tese is Chairman of Bond Street Holdings, LLC and ICE Clear Credit LLC. He is Executive Chairman of Florida Community Bank. Mr. Tese also serves as a director of MSG, Intercontinental Exchange, Inc., and Mack-Cali Realty Corporation. He also serves as a trustee of New York Presbyterian Hospital and New York University School of Law. Mr. Tese was a director of Gabelli Asset Management, National Wireless Holdings, Inc., The Bear Stearns Companies, Inc., [Cablevision](/org/cablevision) until its sale in June 2016 and [MSG Networks](/org/msg-networks) until September 30, 2016.
