Luca Fantoni

Luca Fantoni is an experienced professional in the field of technical services and research and development, currently serving as the Field Technical Service Manager for South Europe, Africa, and the Middle East at Amcor since January 2015. In this role, Luca oversees a geographically dispersed team of engineers, ensuring high-quality technical support aligned with business strategies. Prior to this, Luca held the position of Field Technical Service Engineer at Goglio S.p.A. from April 2002 to December 2014, focusing on the R&D of multilayer barrier plastic packaging for liquid aseptic food. Additionally, experience includes working as a Laboratory Technician at the European Commission's Joint Research Centre from April 2000 to March 2002, where methods for the analysis of specific migration in baby food were developed. Luca holds a degree in Chemistry from the Università degli Studi di Milano, completed in 2002.
