Kendra Kimmons

Kendra Kimmons is an accomplished marketing and communications professional with over 18 years of experience. Currently serving as the Vice President of Marketing and Communications at Amedisys since September 2005, Kimmons leads all aspects of the company's internal and external communications, including branding, digital strategy, thought leadership, PR, and crisis communications. Prior to this role, Kimmons was the Managing Director of Marketing and Communications, overseeing communications for 60 corporate departments and 16,000 employees in a Fortune 1000 company. Earlier experience includes the position of Marketing & Public Relations Director at Louisiana Art & Science Museum and Irene W. Pennington Planetarium, as well as freelancing as a copywriter. Kimmons holds a Bachelor of Science degree in advertising with a minor in marketing from the University of Southern Mississippi.
