Sarah M. Collins, MSN, ANP-BC, ACHPN, serves as the Area Director of Palliative Care for Amedisys, overseeing operations in Rhode Island, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Maine since November 2021. With a robust background in palliative care, Sarah's previous roles include nurse practitioner positions at Genesis and VNA of Care New England, focusing on palliative care, as well as extensive experience at UnitedHealth Group overseeing post-acute and long-term care. Early career roles included serving as a urogynecology nurse practitioner at Women and Infants Hospital, a diabetes nurse practitioner at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, and a research nurse practitioner at Boston Medical Center. Sarah holds a Master of Nursing degree from Simmons University and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Bridgewater State University.
