Memphis' Finest Dining Experience

You are invited to enjoy a contemporary, globally inspired palate artfully designed to impress. Fine wines, classic cocktails, proper bites, and a can’t-miss cheese cart will transport you through a culinary journey with distinct hospitality that can only be found at Amelia Gene’s, Memphis' finest dining experience located in Downtown Memphis. The transformation from a foundry into a breathtakingly beautiful restaurant is only superseded by the culinary offerings of Executive Chef Nate Henssler and the hospitality of his wife and General Manager Jessica Henssler.

Our menu emphasizes seasonality and a dedication to ingredient-driven preparations. Our Chef's culinary philosophy is characterized by restraint, allowing the innate qualities of the ingredients to eloquently express themselves. Our establishment is located adjacent to the Caption by Hyatt Hotel.

Amelia Gene's is designed to make every moment special and every gathering unforgettable. Located in the bustling heart of downtown, our restaurant offers a world of flavors, exceptional service, and a warm atmosphere perfect for any celebration. Whether on its own as a distinguished gathering or an elegant overture to further private or semi-private dining, another event, or a performance, we provide the perfect introduction to any format — from six guests to a full buyout.
