Jodi Amendola is an accomplished leader with 25 years of experience developing, implementing and executing high-impact, integrated business-to-business public relations and marketing campaigns. Since 2004, she has served as CEO and co-founder of Amendola, a national, full-service public relations, social media, content marketing and marketing communications agency serving healthcare and health information technology (HIT) organizations.

Jodi has led campaigns for industry giants and start-up companies, including Cisco, Intel, TriZetto, Allscripts, Medicity, Awarepoint, Eclipsys, iSirona, Health 2.0, multiple McKesson business units, and many others. In addition to her wide-ranging healthcare and HIT industry experience, Jodi has also worked with telecommunications, real estate and professional services clients.

Jodi was named one of PR News' Top Women in PR for 2017. The prestigious award recognizes women executives who have made bold advances in managing crises, developing brand messages, protecting and building brand reputations, and creating content for digital platforms.PR SourceCode has repeatedly recognized Jodi as a "Top PR Pro" for consistently meeting or surpassing editors' needs. In 2009, Jodi was named an elite Forty-Under-40 Business Leader by the Phoenix Business Journal.

Jodi gives back to the industry and enjoys educating and helping entrepreneurs. She served as a PERCH panel participant on "Go-to-Market Strategy & Sales into Health Systems and was also a judge for Healthcare Marketing IMPACT awards sponsored by Advertising Age and Modern Healthcare. She was recently interviewed by US News and provided guidance on maximizing HIMSS in a 30-minute podcast interview with HealthcareNow Radio entitled, What's My Tagline: Exhibiting and Speaking at HIMSS "How to do it "Right".

Jodi is a hands-on leader providing strategic direction and ongoing involvement in all phases of client public relations and marketing programs. She has placed client stories in The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times and top-tier trade journals in various market niches.

Previously, Jodi held several positions during 14 years at CPR Communications, a national PR and marketing firm specializing in healthcare and technology. She was also a co-founder of CPR Financial Communications consultancy that focused on early-stage technology and biotech/medical device companies. In 2000, the company was purchased by Shandwick International, a member of the InterPublic Group of Companies (NYSE:IPG).

Jodi serves as Board Member, chair of the AzHIMSS Marketing & Communications Committee, which supports the communication and outreach needs of the chapter. Jodi is a member of WBL, an exclusive group of 3,500 senior executive women in healthcare leaders. She is also an active member of the National Charity League, Inc. and has served on numerous boards including the Arizona Friends of Foster Children Foundation, the X2 Health network, a non-profit exclusive executive women's health network, and the Community Resource Council of Bergen County. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communications and Media Studies from Boston University.
