Peter Sopczak

Peter Sopczak has extensive work experience in the field of information systems security and cyber operations. Peter is currently working at Amentum as an Information Systems Security Manager and Contract Team Lead. Prior to that, they worked at Pluribus International as an Information System Security Manager and Cybersecurity System Security Engineer II. Peter also served in the US Army, where they held various roles including Cyber Effects Planning Manager, Communications Protection and Support Program Manager, Electronic Warfare Technician, and AH-64D Pilot/ Communications Systems Manager/ Department ISSM. Peter has a strong background in managing IT systems, coordinating cyber operations, and providing guidance on electronic warfare systems.

Peter Sopczak holds an Associate's Degree in General Studies from Columbia Southern University. In addition, they have obtained various certifications such as ITIL Foundation from AXELOS Global Best Practice in 2018, Certified Ethical Hacker from EC-Council in June 2018, CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner in June 2018, and Security+ from CompTIA in June 2017.
