Scott Riney

Scott Riney, CISSP, CAP, has an extensive work experience in the field of security. Scott is currently working as the Director of Security, Global Mission Solutions and Corporate Information System Security Manager at Amentum since February 2020. Prior to joining Amentum, Scott worked at General Dynamics Information Technology for 10 years where they held the positions of Director, Enterprise Security Services and Corporate ISSM. Scott also worked at SAIC as an Information System Security Manager for 7 years. Scott has also worked as an Information Systems Security Engineer at General Dynamics Information Technology, Information System Security Officer at TASC, Inc., and Trident Data Systems. Before starting their career in the security field, they served in the US Army/Infantryman/Presidential Escort role at the 3d U.S. Infantry Regiment (The Old Guard) from June 1984 to May 1988.

Scott Riney, CISSP, CAP has a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminology from Florida State University, which they obtained from 1990 to 1992. Prior to that, they earned an Associate of Arts degree in Criminology from Tallahassee Community College, from 1988 to 1990. In terms of certifications, they hold a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from (ISC)², which they obtained in 2007. Scott also has a Certified Authorization Professional (CAP) certification from (ISC)², obtained in 2014.
