Tom Lloyd

Tom Lloyd currently serves as an Assistant Flight Commander at Amentum since September 2022 and previously worked as a Flight Instructor for the same company in June 2019. Prior experience includes a Program Manager role at Innovative Solutions & Support, where responsibilities involved leading teams to meet customer program requirements, and a long tenure at Rockwell Collins as Director of Simulation and Training Solutions, where Tom successfully managed teams delivering training services and exceeded sales goals. A background in training and development includes positions such as Customer Training Manager and Sr. Training System Designer at Rockwell Collins and Student and Learning Development Consultant at Iowa State University. Earlier experience also includes serving as a Captain for Air Methods and a Standardization Pilot in the US Army. Tom holds a Master of Science in Curriculum and Instructional Technology from Iowa State University and a Bachelor's Degree in Aviation/Airway Management and Operations from Saint Martin's University, along with certifications as an Airline Transport Pilot and Certified Flight Instructor.
