Yurimia Aleman, MBA, is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in technology and operations within the banking sector. Currently serving as Executive Vice President and Head of Technology at Amerant since November 2015, Yurimia is responsible for defining the firm's technology vision, overseeing IT operations, and managing technology vendors. Previous positions include Senior Vice President and Enterprise Data Officer, where Yurimia developed and governed the enterprise's data strategy, and Senior Vice President and Multichannel Fraud Prevention Manager, focusing on fraud protection strategies. Prior to joining Amerant, Yurimia held various roles at Mercantil Banco, including Technology Infrastructure Manager and Operations Manager, with a strong emphasis on IT infrastructure, service management, and compliance.
