Sam Jhans-Mehra has had an extensive career in marketing and operations. In 1998, they became the Chief Creative Officer for the Irish Tourist Board, where they were responsible for the overall creative direction for Ireland's National Tourism Service. In 2002, they took on the role of Campaigns Writer & Art Director for Pacific News Service, where they were responsible for the brand strategy and art direction for advertising and marketing campaigns. In 2017, they became the Head of Creative Management for Field Marketing at Rodan + Fields. In 2018, they took on the role of Director, Creative Operations/Head of Studio at Shutterfly, Inc. and in 2019, they became the Chief Of Staff to the CMO/Director of Business Operations. In 2020, they became the Head Of Marketing Operations at Stanford Health Care and in 2021, they became the Operations Lead, Creative X at Facebook. In 2022, they became the Director, Global Marketing Operations at 2K. Alongside their professional roles, Sam has also pursued their passion for cooking, taking on the role of Culinary Passionista in 2012.
Sam Jhans-Mehra's education history includes graduating from Hastings High School in 1994, followed by a BFA in Graphic Design/Fine Arts from Boston University between 1994 and 1998. In 2000 and 2002, Sam attended Open University Australia and completed a specialty in User Interface & Design. In 2012, Sam attended Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management and earned an Advanced Management degree in Business/Corporate Communications. In 2014, Sam completed a Culinary Arts program at San Francisco Cooking School.
