Haroon Taqi

Vice President, Digital Portfolio, Architecture, And Governance at Ameren

Haroon Taqi has extensive work experience in digital portfolio management, architecture, and governance. Haroon served as the Vice President, leading the Digital Portfolio, Architecture, and Governance (PGA) organization at Ameren, a major energy delivery company. Haroon successfully implemented agile methodologies and led the mobilization of agile teams for major projects. Additionally, Haroon Taqi worked as the Vice President of Information Technology at TKC Holdings, where they developed digital strategies and oversaw the delivery of various digital products and applications. Haroon also held management positions at bioMerieux, where they led enterprise architecture, IT operations, and product development teams. Prior to that, Haroon Taqi worked as a Principal/Managing IT Consultant at various companies and held IT management roles at Monsanto Company. Haroon began their career at Washington University School of Medicine, providing software and infrastructure support for the Human Genome Project. Currently, they are an Adjunct Faculty member at Washington University in St. Louis, teaching graduate courses on IT governance and risk management.

Haroon Taqi has a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science from Washington University in St. Louis. Haroon also holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from the same institution. Additionally, they have a Certificate in Strategic Leadership from Duke University - The Fuqua School of Business. Haroon Taqi also has certifications from the Project Management Institute (PMP), PEOPLECERT (ITIL Foundation), and The Open Group (TOGAF 9.1).
