John Kotolski

John Kotolski has a diverse work experience in the field of cybersecurity operations. John is currently working as a Director of Cybersecurity Operations at Ameren since January 2021. Prior to this role, they served as the Manager of Cyber Security Operations at Alliant Energy from March 2014 to January 2021. Before joining Alliant Energy, John worked as a Security Architect at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from August 2008 to March 2014. Additionally, they were an Instructor (Part-Time) at Madison Area Technical College from January 2008 to December 2010. John's career in cybersecurity started with the Ho-Chunk Nation, where they held the role of IT Manager/Security Administrator from June 1999 to August 2008.

John Kotolski received their Masters degree in Information Security from Capella University from 2005 to 2007.
