Jon Stitzel has extensive experience in cybersecurity and risk management, currently serving as Lead Analyst for Cybersecurity Governance, Risk, and Threat at Ameren since April 2012. Prior roles at Ameren include Sr. Digital Policy & Risk Analyst and Cybersecurity Analyst for both Transmission & Distribution Control Systems and Smart Grid. Stitzel is also a Regional Executive Advisory Council Member at SecureWorld Expo and has been involved with the Cybersecurity Programs Advisory Board at Thomas Edison State University since January 2016. Stitzel held leadership positions in the Utilities Technology Council, including Chair of the Security, Risk, and Compliance Committee, from June 2019 to June 2022. Previous experience includes roles at Burns & McDonnell, SAVVIS Communications, US Bank, Burns & McDonnell Engineering, Anheuser-Busch Companies, Inc., and the US Air Force, where responsibilities spanned compliance, critical infrastructure protection, and network security.
