Joshua Rose

Joshua Rose's work experience begins in 2009 when they worked as a Barista at Starbucks. ✝️ Joshua then became a Shift Supervisor at Starbucks from June 2011 to February 2012. From 2012 to 2017, Joshua worked at Veterans Health Administration as a Senior SharePoint Developer, where they designed, developed, and maintained SharePoint-based custom solutions. From 2017 to 2019, they worked as a Freelance Senior Software Engineer at JrGiant Development, focusing on web development and WordPress customization. In 2018, Joshua joined Flex-N-Gate as an IT SharePoint Administrator. ✝️ Joshua then moved on to become a Senior Software Engineer at Ameren's Innovation Center from June 2020 to May 2021, leading a team of interns on various projects. ✝️ Joshua continued at Ameren as a Senior Automation Engineer from May 2021 to January 2023, taking on leadership responsibilities and managing projects. Currently, Joshua is working as a Lead Software Engineer - Automation at Ameren, where they spearhead infrastructure automations with a team of developers and mentors them. One of their notable achievements includes implementing the Ansible Automation Platform (AAP) at Ameren.

Joshua Rose attended Purdue University from 2005 to 2012, where they obtained a degree in Computer Information Technology with a specialization in Computer Programming, Specific Applications. During the same period, from 2005 to 2012, they also attended Indiana University Indianapolis and earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer and Information Sciences, General. In July 2020, Joshua obtained the Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification from the Scrum Alliance.
