Katie Weitekamp

Katie Weitekamp, APR, serves as the Internal Content Manager at Ameren since June 2013, where responsibilities include managing daily editorial content and enhancing the internal communications portfolio. Previously, Katie held various roles at Gainesville Regional Utilities from July 2006 to June 2013, culminating as Marketing Communications Manager, overseeing media relations and marketing initiatives. With a strong background in communication strategy, Katie has also worked as a Communications Executive and Consultant, focusing on internal and external messaging. Involvement in the Florida Public Relations Association - Gainesville Chapter includes multiple leadership positions, including Past President and Chapter President. Katie holds a Master of Arts in Mass Communication from the University of Florida and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Eastern Illinois University.
