Steve Watson

Steve Watson has over 25 years of work experience in various roles in the energy and finance sectors. Steve most recently worked as the Lead Gas Supply Executive at Ameren since July 2021. Prior to that, they held multiple positions at Arch Coal, Inc. including Director Commodity Trading and Origination, Contract Administrator, Division Accountant, and Senior Internal Auditor from 1998 to 2020. Before joining Arch Coal, Inc., Steve worked at Boeing as a Specialist - Internal Audit and a Senior Financial Controls Analyst from 1993 to 1998. Throughout their career, they demonstrated expertise in trading, contract management, financial analysis, and internal control systems.

Steve Watson obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Accounting from the University of Missouri-Saint Louis in 1989-1993. Steve then went on to earn a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from the John Cook School of Business at Saint Louis University in 1996-1998. Additionally, they have certifications as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and as a Chartered Market Technician (CMT) - Level I.
