Tara Oglesby has extensive experience in various leadership roles at Ameren Missouri and Ameren. Tara began their career at Ameren in 1992, where they worked in field operations and customer service. Tara later became a Business Improvement Consultant, leading teams and initiatives to integrate procedures and systems resulting from a merger. During this time, they also played a key role in implementing a new Customer Information System.

In 2003, Tara joined Ameren Missouri and served as a Strategic Advisor, focusing on process improvement and implementing new technologies. Tara was then promoted to Director of Customer Satisfaction & Business Optimization, overseeing customer research and implementing training and metrics to improve customer satisfaction.

In 2012, Tara became the Senior Director of Customer Experience at Ameren Missouri, responsible for leading a newly formed customer experience organization and implementing strategies for improving the customer experience. Tara also played a significant role in developing a credit and collections risk management system that reduced bad debt expense by 40%.

Tara's success in customer experience led to their promotion as Vice President of Customer Experience at Ameren Missouri in 2016. In this role, they led departments with a direct impact on the customer experience and worked closely with senior leadership to achieve corporate objectives in customer satisfaction, employee engagement, safety, and financials.

In 2022, Tara was promoted to Vice President of Community, Economic Development, and Energy Solutions at Ameren Missouri, further expanding their responsibilities.

Tara Oglesby obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a Marketing emphasis from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in the period from 1986 to 1990. In terms of additional certifications, they completed the 6 Sigma - Black Belt certification from the GE Training Institute in Fort Wayne, Indiana, in 2003. Furthermore, they attended executive development programs at Harvard Business School and INSEAD in 2016.
