Kevin O'Connor

Kevin O'Connor has extensive work experience in the cleantech and renewable energy industries. Kevin is currently working as the Director of Project Management in the LFG Ops/RNG Group at Ameresco, where they are involved in delivering energy efficiency, infrastructure upgrades, and renewable energy solutions to clients. Prior to joining Ameresco, Kevin worked as the Director of Construction and Implementation at Braven Environmental, focusing on reducing waste plastics in landfills and waterways. Kevin also served as a Project Manager at Venture Engineering & Construction, overseeing projects in the energy, power, and process industries. Before that, they worked as a Project Manager at CTI Biochemicals, leading teams in the construction of biodiesel processing facilities. Kevin started their career at On Site Construction Services as a Project Manager/Owner-Operator, specializing in structural steel and construction consulting. Kevin also gained valuable experience as a Journeyman/Foreman at Steamfitters UA Local 475, working on piping fabrication and installation projects in various industrial and commercial settings.

Kevin O'Connor completed a 4-year apprenticeship training program in Trade - Pipefitting/Welding at the Steamfitters LU 475 Apprenticeship Training Program from 1986 to 1990. Kevin also obtained a Certificate in Project Management from The Performance Institute in 2007. In 2009, they enrolled at the Community College of Allegheny County to study Business, but the completion status of their degree is unknown. Additionally, they hold certifications in OSHA 10 from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration and Associate Government Project Management from the National Registry of CPE Sponsors.
