Mary Burns

Mary Burns is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in proposal coordination and education. Currently serving as a Senior Proposal Coordinator at Ameresco since August 2014, Mary collaborates with cross-functional teams to develop successful proposals for energy efficiency and renewable technology projects. Prior experience includes roles as Proposal Coordinator and Office Manager, where Mary refined RFPs and marketing materials, along with providing art instruction as an Adjunct Instructor at City Colleges of Chicago and Moraine Valley Community College. Additional experience encompasses independent art instruction at Gallery 37 and recruitment at DirecTV Broadband. Mary holds an MFA in Visual Arts from the University of Chicago, along with a BA in English Language and Literature from Loyola University Chicago and a BFA in Painting and Drawing from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
