Edgar Manukyan has a diverse range of work experience. Edgar started their career in 1999 at Armenergo, where they held various positions until 2001. Edgar then joined the Ministry of Energy as a Counsellor of Deputy Minister before transitioning to ArmRusgasprom, where they served as the Assistant of Director General and Chairman of the Board, Chief Development Officer of Representation Office in Russia, and Director of Representation Office in Russia. In 2005, they joined the Yerevan Thermal Power Plant as the Head of Yerevan Combine Cycle Co-generation Power Plant Project Implementation Dept. Edgar managed the construction project and successfully executed two out of three project stages. Edgar later worked at Project Management Unit CJSC as a Senior Project Manager and at Camp Ventures CJSC as a Director. In 2015, they became the CEO of IDeA Foundation Armenia and also briefly served as the Acting CEO. In 2018, they became the Managing Partner at Fintechtronix before joining Ameriabank CJSC as the Head of Administration.
Edgar Manukyan's education history begins in 1993 when they attended Yerevan State Institute of National Economy. Edgar pursued a Bachelor of Science (Honors) degree in Finance and completed their studies in 1998. Afterward, in 1999, they enrolled at the University of International Economic Relation, where they pursued another Bachelor of Science (Honors) degree, this time in International Law. Edgar graduated in 2000. In 2008, Edgar embarked on their Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Aston University, which they completed in 2009. Most recently, in 2017, they attended INSEAD and obtained a Certificate in Leadership.
