Jamal Deslandes

Jamal Deslandes has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Starting in 2009, they worked as a Retail Stock Clerk at Follett Higher Education, where they assisted students and visitors with finding textbooks. Jamal then worked as a Mail Clerk at 1199SEIU United Healthcare Workers East in 2011, where they identified and labeled medical information and delivered mail within the organization. In 2012, they briefly worked as a Telemarketer/Research Clerk at Universal Survey Center.

In 2014, Jamal became a Member Services Intern at 1199SEIU Benefit and Pension Funds, where they assisted the management team in the Member Services Department and performed general clerical duties. From 2017 to 2021, they held various roles at different organizations. At Citydrug & surgical, they worked as a Pharmacy Clerk/Technician, greeting customers, answering phone calls, and collecting payment and insurance information.

Jamal Deslandes has a diverse education history. From 2014 to 2016, they attended St. Joseph's University New York and earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management. Prior to that, from 2012 to 2014, they attended Technical Career Institutes and obtained an Associate of Arts and Sciences (AAS) degree in Health Information/Medical Records Technology/Technician.
