Founded in 1997, America Developing Smiles embarked on a labor of love to promote human development and help children and families in need. The organization has grown to include over 300 women volunteers who organize fundraising programs for children’s educational centers in Latin America and work directly with community outreach programs for at-risk families in less privileged Hispanic neighborhoods in our cities. America Developing Smiles continues its work as the USA Headquarters of Asociación Damas Salesianas (ADS). Through ADS, the fundraising efforts of America Developing Smiles benefits more than 2,300 children in Venezuela, Nicaragua, Colombia, Mexico, Puerto Rico and the State of Florida, giving these children education, health, love and hope for tomorrow. VISION To empower caring women in helping to conquer the towering social challenges that face Latin Americans in needy communities by bringing minds and hearts together, with needed resources, to foster positive change.
