Headquartered in Charlotte, NC, America In Motion (AIM) is a small business focused on custom designed and built mobile robots made in America. AIM features engineers in disciplines including electrical, mechanical and software. Since its establishment in 2007, AIM has provided its clients with innovative and cutting-edge solutions to a wide range of engineering problems. In particular, AIM’s existing technologies for autonomous robot control and software design will be directly leveraged to help this project succeed. The AIM team will be led by Tommy Hessler (Robotics and Electromechanical Systems) who has extensive experience with robot control, robotics software development, robotics software/hardware integration, and program management.
