Mark D. Kaufmann

Mark D. Kaufmann MD is a distinguished dermatologist with extensive leadership experience in the field. Currently serving as the Chief Medical Officer at Advanced Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery since September 2020, Mark also held the position of President at the American Academy of Dermatology from March 2022. As a Clinical Professor at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai since January 1995, Mark has contributed significantly to medical education. Additionally, Mark held the role of Chief Medical Officer at The Derm Group from March 2018 to August 2020 and worked as a dermatologist at MK Dermatology until August 2020. Mark earned a Doctor of Medicine (MD) from NYU School of Medicine, following a Bachelor of Arts in History from New York University.
