Frank Almaguer has extensive experience in various high-level positions within international organizations and government agencies. Currently serving as a Board Member at The American Academy of Diplomacy since January 2022, Almaguer has also been a member of the Board of Trustees at Zamorano Agricultural University since 2012. Previous roles include serving on the Foreign Service Grievance Board with the U.S. Department of State from 2017 to 2023, acting as a Senior Advisor for the International Atomic Energy Agency from 2013 to 2016, and holding the position of Secretary for Administration and Finance at the Organization of American States from 2005 to 2010. Almaguer has also represented the United States as Ambassador to Honduras and held various roles within the U.S. Agency for International Development and the Peace Corps. Almaguer holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration from The George Washington University and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from the University of Florida.
