Theresa Campo has extensive work experience in the field of nursing and healthcare. theresa is currently serving as the Vice President Education and Accreditation at the American Association of Nurse Practitioners since June 2021. Before that, they worked as an Emergency Nurse Practitioner at Cape Emergency Physicians from February 2018 to August 2021. Prior to that, they held multiple roles at Drexel University's College of Nursing and Health Professions, including Chair Department of Emergency Medical Service and Director of the Emergency Nurse Practitioner track from August 2015 to June 2021.
Theresa Campo has a strong educational background in nursing. theresa first attended Widener University from 1998 to 2001, where they earned a Master of Science in Nursing degree. Later, from 2005 to 2008, they attended Case Western Reserve University and obtained a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree. Throughout their education, Theresa focused on nursing as their field of study.
In addition to their degrees, Theresa has also achieved certifications to further enhance their expertise. In August 2013, they became Emergency Nurse Practitioner Board Certified through the American Nurses Credentialing Association. In October 2011, they obtained the Family Nurse Practitioner certification from the American Association for Nurse Practitioners. These certifications reflect their commitment to staying current in their profession and expanding their skill set.
