Allison Elise Emmons

Allison Elise Emmons currently serves as Senior Manager of Digital Learning at the American Academy of Otolaryngology since October 2023, after previously holding the position of Manager of Digital Learning. Prior to this role, Allison spent nearly a decade at Fairfax County Public Schools, where responsibilities included serving as the English 12 Team Lead, developing data-driven instruction, and fostering student engagement through interactive virtual and hybrid lessons. As an English Teacher, Allison integrated technology and project-based learning to promote student independence and preparedness for post-high school experiences. Additional roles at Fairfax County Public Schools included New Teacher Mentor and co-sponsor for the Class of 2018, demonstrating a commitment to mentoring and community involvement. Earlier experience includes an internship as a Technical Editor at STG, Inc., where Allison focused on quality assurance of written proposals. Allison holds a Bachelor of Arts in English and a Master of Education from James Madison University.
