Jean Brereton

Jean Brereton serves as the Senior Director of Research, Quality and Health Policy at the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, a position held since July 2009, where responsibilities include overseeing quality, health policy, and research functions for a national surgical society. Prior experience includes serving as Assistant Vice President of Ambulatory Services at Inova Health System, where Jean managed five outpatient service lines and was responsible for strategic implementation supporting the organization's goals. Additional roles encompass Director at George Washington University Medical Faculty Associates, overseeing provider contracts with health insurers, and earlier positions at George Washington University Medical Center, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of the National Capital Area, and United Mine Workers Health and Pension Funds, culminating in a diverse career in healthcare management and administration.
