Soniya Phatak

Soniya Phatak, BDS, MPH, currently serves as Senior Manager for the Reg-ent Registry at the American Academy of Otolaryngology, overseeing operations and client relations while ensuring compliance with CMS requirements. Soniya's previous experience includes roles as a Health Information Specialist at the Virginia Department of Health, where research on COVID-19 was conducted, and as a Technical Officer at the Pan American Health Organization focusing on HIV/STI prevention in key populations. Soniya has also held positions at The George Washington University as a Departmental Liaison and as a data analytics intern at the Association of State and Territorial Health Officials. Earlier clinical experience includes roles as an Associate Dentist and health counselor in India, contributing to oral health education and diagnosis. Soniya holds a Master of Public Health in Global Environmental Health from The George Washington University and a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from Bharati Vidyapeeth Dental College and Hospital.
