Raquel Medina, LMHC, is an accomplished mental health professional with extensive experience in addiction treatment and behavioral health services. Currently serving as the Director of Electronic Health Record Training at American Addiction Centers since 2017, Raquel specializes in L&D leadership and clinical operations optimization within a leading provider of addiction treatment. Prior experience includes roles as the Director of Clinical Services at Infinity Behavioral Health Services, where executive leadership was provided to advance clinical and operational models, and multiple positions at American Addiction Centers that involved managing clinical training, operations for an adolescent program, and supporting the implementation of an electronic health record platform. Additionally, Raquel began a career at Kids In Distress, offering therapeutic counseling in a program dedicated to the prevention of child abuse. Raquel holds a Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Rhode Island.
