Rebekah Furey

Rebekah Furey is an experienced Collections Manager at Conner Prairie since April 2018, responsible for maintaining a diverse collection of over 27,000 objects and managing institutional archives and a library of over 5,000 volumes. Furey has led digitization projects, developed collections policies, and supported public relationships and training initiatives. Additionally, Furey serves as a Peer Reviewer for the American Alliance of Museums and has contributed to revising the AIC Code of Ethics through a task force position. Prior roles include Collections Assistant, Registration Assistant, and experience at The Children's Museum of Indianapolis, complemented by extensive educational achievements in Museology, Spanish Language, and American History from Indiana University and the University of Louisville.
