Sierra McGivney

Sierra McGivney is a skilled content coordinator with extensive experience in the outdoor and adventure sectors. Currently serving at the American Alpine Club since November 2021, Sierra produces high-quality content and assists the content director with writing, audio editing, and managing social media platforms. Prior roles include membership and content coordinator at the American Alpine Club, member service coordinator at Spot Bouldering Gym, and youth climbing instructor at St. Elias Alpine Guides. Additionally, Sierra has contributed as a freelance writer and editorial intern at Adirondack Explorer and has led adventure trips at YMCA Camp Chingachgook. Sierra holds a Bachelor of Arts in multimedia journalism from the State University of New York at Plattsburgh.
