Peyton Schmitt

Peyton Schmitt is a Communications Specialist at the American Angus Association, a position held since October 2021, after previously serving as a Communications Intern with the same organization. Schmitt has gained extensive experience in agricultural communications through various roles, including a Communications Intern at the Coalition to Support Iowa’s Farmers and as the 2020 NWSS Livestock Media Scholar at the National Western Stock Show. Early career experiences include internships at the Iowa Farm Bureau and the Iowa FFA Association, where significant contributions were made in event planning and social media content creation. Peyton Schmitt holds a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture & Life Sciences Education with a Communications Option and a minor in Animal Science from Iowa State University.
