American Animal Hospital Association
Judy Rose Lanier, CVPM, CVA, VEMM, DES, currently serves as the Director of Education and Community for the North American Association of Veterinary Receptionists as of September 2024. Judy has held various roles with the American Animal Hospital Association since July 2017, including Team Lead for the DEIB Committee, Learning Programs Manager, and Regional Manager for the West Coast. Judy has also been a Practice Consultant for Georgia, North & South Carolina, and has held leadership positions such as Director of Marketing at the Austin City Unlimited Veterinary Practice Management Symposium and Director of Credentialing at the Texas Veterinary Medical Association. Earlier career positions include Chief Operations Officer at Austin Corner Vet Veterinary Hospital, Veterinary Practice Manager at Buttercup Veterinary Hospital, and Hospital Director at Banfield Pet Hospital, among others. Judy's educational background includes ongoing studies at Cornell University, as well as degrees from Austin Community College and Sul Ross State University.
American Animal Hospital Association
The American Animal Hospital Association is the only organization that accredits animal hospitals throughout the United States and Canada. AAHA-accredited veterinary hospitals are champions for excellent pet health care. They voluntarily choose to be evaluated on approximately 900 standards of veterinary care. Currently, over 3,600 small animal veterinary hospitals are accredited by AAHA. Consultants regularly visit these hospitals to ensure compliance with AAHA’s standards for services and facilities.
